CHOICE Project in “Tierra Cooperativa” Journal
We are pleased to announce that the CHOICE project has been featured in the latest issue of “Tierra Cooperativa,” the esteemed journal of our partner, Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía (CAAND). The article, published in issue number 124 of the journalin the first quarter of 2024, offers a concise introduction to the CHOICE project’s mission and goals.
The publication coincides with the successful organization of the first physical Kick-Off Meeting of the CHOICE project, held in Athens in February 2024. This event marked a significant milestone for the consortium, bringing together partners from Europe, South Africa and Colombiato strategize and collaborate on advancing sustainable practices in the food, agriculture, and land-use sectors.
The article, featured on page 41 of the journal, highlights the project’s focus on integrating behavioral change and actor diversity into Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) to accelerate climate action and foster a sustainable food system transformation.
The reference to the CHOICE project in the latest issue of “Tierra Cooperativa” has effectively introduced the project to a wide array of key stakeholders in the Andalusian region. With its extensive distribution network, the journal reaches 640 cooperatives representing over 305,000 partners and 38,000 workers, as well as regional and provincial public administration offices, banks, research centers, and agricultural associations. This broad outreach ensures that the goals and mission of CHOICE are communicated effectively to the targeted participants of the Spanish pilot, fostering awareness and engagement among influential stakeholders in Andalusia’s agriculture sector and beyond
