CAAND Facilitates CHOICE Outreach at important Spanish Events

In a bid to foster greater awareness and engagement with the community, Cooperativas Agro-Alimentarias de Andalucia (CAAND), a key partner of the CHOICE project, recently participated in two significant events, aiming to spread awareness about the project’s goals and impact to diverse target audiences on both a regional and at a national scale.

Through these concerted efforts, CAAND reaffirms its commitment to advancing the objectives of the CHOICE project while fostering greater engagement and collaboration within the community. Open Day at University of Seville

Specifically, on February 20th, CAAND made its mark at the University of Seville's open day, seizing the opportunity to introduce students to the CHOICE project among others. With an informative booth focusing on the latest research initiatives in the agriculture sector, CAAND representatives elucidated the CHOICE project's mission to accelerate climate action by promoting climate-friendly consumption and production choices for a sustainable future. This interaction sparked meaningful dialogues, fostering a deeper understanding among the student body about the importance of their food-related decisions in combating climate change.

Digitization Congress in Cordoba

Following the successful engagement at the University of Seville, CAAND further extended its outreach by participating in a prestigious congress organized by the Fundae FundaciĆ³n Estatal para la FormaciĆ³n en el Empleo (State Foundation for Employment Training) in the province of Cordoba on February 21st and 22nd. Focused on digitization within the agricultural sector, the congress attracted a diverse audience, mainly SMEs and other general audiences. During the event CAAND representatives presented CHOICE through a dedicated stand at the exhibition, elucidating its significance and potential impact on the agricultural landscape by fostering sustainable production practices to mitigate climate change. Through this endeavour CAAND not only bolstered awareness about the project but also fostered meaningful conversations and collaborations with attendees, laying the groundwork for future synergies.
